Better work. Not just more quotes.
Most electricians do not have a lead problem. They have a wrong lead problem: small jobs, price shoppers, and callers twenty miles outside the area, while the rewires and EV installs go elsewhere. Marketing for electricians is about changing what arrives, not just how much.
- Website, local search, reviews, then ads
- Fewer, better enquiries
- Fixed price, published
The order matters
Doing these out of sequence is how electricians waste money on advertising.
What we take on
The website itself
Built to convert, then measured, so you can see what it is producing rather than guessing.
Local search and reviews
Profile, citations, and a review flow that runs after every completed job without you remembering to do it.
Content that earns citations
A small number of genuinely useful guides rather than a blog nobody reads.
Paid traffic, when it is time
Landing pages built for a single service, so the click has somewhere sensible to land.
What clients say
Reviews from clients of the team behind Rewired Websites, building websites since 2011.
We're getting more enquiries
“Since launching the new website, we've had a noticeable increase in calls and quote requests. It looks professional and makes it really easy for customers to get in touch.”
Exactly what our electrical business needed
“Our old website looked dated and wasn't bringing in work. The new site looks brilliant on mobile and properly showcases the services we offer.”
Professional from start to finish
“The whole process was straightforward. They understood the electrical trade and built us a website that looks professional without being overcomplicated.”
Already generating new jobs
“We wanted a website that actually helped us win more local work, not just something that looked good. We've already had new customers find us through the site.”
Would definitely recommend
“Really pleased with the finished website. It's fast, modern and gives customers confidence in our business. We've had great feedback from existing customers too.”
Questions about marketing an electrical business
What is the cheapest way for an electrician to get more work?
Asking every completed job for a review, and having a website that answers what the customer wants to know. Both are close to free and both outperform paid advertising for most electricians until the basics are in place.
Should I run Google Ads?
Only once your website converts. Paid traffic magnifies whatever your site already does. If it converts poorly, ads make you lose money faster. Fix the site, then buy traffic to it.
Are directories like Checkatrade worth the money?
They work, and the cost is that the enquiry is sold to several electricians at once, so you compete on price and you never own the relationship. Most electricians who build their own channel taper directory spend rather than cutting it overnight.
How do I stop getting price shoppers?
Publish prices, or at least ranges. It filters people out before they call, which feels counter-intuitive and saves an enormous amount of time. Electricians who publish pricing consistently report fewer, better enquiries.
Does social media bring electricians work?
Occasionally, and rarely at the volume the effort deserves. Before-and-after photographs of consumer units and rewires perform well on local Facebook groups. That is usually the whole worthwhile strategy.
