Electrician web design
Electrician web design is the process of building a website around the way electrical work is won, rather than around a template written for any small business. A page for each service you want more of, your scheme registration displayed correctly, and enquiries that land in your job management software. From £1,200, live in 14 days.
- A page for every service you want more of
- Scheme logos applied correctly
- Enquiries wired into your job software
Who this is for
Your site came from a general trades template
It could be a plumber's site with the words swapped. One services page, eight bullet points, ranking for none of them.
You want different work than you are getting
You want rewires and EV charger installs. You get call-outs for a broken socket twelve miles outside your area.
Nobody can tell what you are qualified for
Your registration is a small logo in the footer. Part P, BS 7671 and your ECS card appear nowhere. A landlord checking whether you can issue a valid EICR cannot find the answer.
Your enquiries go nowhere useful
A form emails you. You see it that evening. By then the customer has spoken to two other electricians.
What you get
One page per service, properly written
Rewires, consumer unit upgrades, EICRs, EV charger installation, fault finding, commercial work. A dedicated page is evidence you offer a service. A line in a list is not.
Qualifications that do their job
Scheme registration, registration number, Part P notification, BS 7671 competence and any OZEV approval, laid out where a cautious customer looks and formatted the way your scheme permits.
Job management software connected
Commusoft, Tradify, Payaca, Powered Now or Fergus. The enquiry becomes a job the moment it is submitted.
Structured data on every page
Service, FAQPage and LocalBusiness schema. This is what lets Google and AI search engines read your site as a set of facts rather than a wall of text.
Mobile speed as a priority
Lighthouse 90 or above on all four measures. Most electrical enquiries are made on a phone, often in a hurry, sometimes in the dark.
Content written to be quoted
Answer-first paragraphs, question-phrased headings, one idea per paragraph. That is what decides whether an AI assistant names you when someone asks who to call.
How it works
Four steps, 14 days, two rounds of feedback. It starts with a message or an email, not a booked call.
Send us your brief
WhatsApp or email, whichever suits you. What you are registered for, which jobs pay best, where you travel and what software you run. No call to book, no diary to juggle.
We design and build it
Design and build happen together, so you review a real working site rather than a flat mock-up you have to imagine.
You review, we refine
Every site gets two full rounds of feedback. You read the copy, use the site, and tell us what to change. Twice, not once.
Live
Search Console, Google Business Profile and analytics set up, with a written handover of everything that was done.
What clients say
Reviews from clients of the team behind Rewired Websites, building websites since 2011.
We're getting more enquiries
“Since launching the new website, we've had a noticeable increase in calls and quote requests. It looks professional and makes it really easy for customers to get in touch.”
Exactly what our electrical business needed
“Our old website looked dated and wasn't bringing in work. The new site looks brilliant on mobile and properly showcases the services we offer.”
Professional from start to finish
“The whole process was straightforward. They understood the electrical trade and built us a website that looks professional without being overcomplicated.”
Already generating new jobs
“We wanted a website that actually helped us win more local work, not just something that looked good. We've already had new customers find us through the site.”
Would definitely recommend
“Really pleased with the finished website. It's fast, modern and gives customers confidence in our business. We've had great feedback from existing customers too.”

Questions about electrician web design
What makes electrician web design different from general web design?
Three things. The services split differently, because a rewire customer and an EICR landlord want completely different reassurance. The compliance layer matters, because scheme logos and competence claims carry rules. And the software integration is specific, because electricians run job management tools that general agencies have never connected to.
How many service pages do I need?
One for each service you genuinely want more of. For most domestic electricians that is four to six: rewires, consumer unit upgrades, EICRs, EV charger installation and fault finding. Adding pages for work you do not want is wasted effort.
Will you write the content or do I have to?
We write it. You approve it on day five, before anything is designed. The only thing we need from you is photographs of your own work, which is usually the slowest part of the whole build.
Do you build on WordPress?
No. Sites are built as static pages, which is why they load in well under a second and score 90 or above on Lighthouse. There are no plugins to maintain and nothing to be hacked. If you specifically need WordPress, say so when you send your brief.
What if I want to update it myself?
The care plan covers changes. For most electricians that works out faster and cheaper than learning a content editor. If you would rather do it yourself, we can set that up instead.
Can you fix my existing site rather than rebuild it?
Sometimes. If the structure is sound and the problem is content and speed, a redesign is the better answer and usually the cheaper one.
What happens to my Google rankings when the new site goes live?
Every old URL is mapped to its new equivalent, so existing rankings carry across. This is standard practice and it gets missed surprisingly often.
