Price and terms

How much does a website for an electrician cost?

£1,200 for a sole trader site of up to 8 pages, £2,400 for an established business needing service pages and job management software integration, and £4,500 for a contractor with a team. Every package includes the £50 per month care plan.

What is included in the £50 per month care plan?

Domain registration and management, hosting and hosting management, software and technical updates, one free minor change each year, and one professional email mailbox. The first month is free, so it starts from month two.

Do I pay upfront?

Half to start, half on launch. The care plan is free for the first month and begins from month two.

What is the AI Visibility and SEO plan?

An optional £497 per month plan on top of the care plan, covering Google Business Profile management, service and area page expansion, content structured to be quoted by AI search, review capture, citations and monthly reporting. It is optional and you can cancel it any time.

Is there a contract or a minimum term?

No lock-in and no exit fee. Your domain is registered in our client account and owned by you, so if you leave you take the domain and the site files with you.

The build

How long does it take?

14 days on Starter, 21 on Contractor, 28 on Team, from the day you send your brief. The slowest step in almost every build is waiting on photographs of your own work.

Who writes the content?

We do, from the brief you send us. You then get two full rounds of feedback to change anything you want, on the real working site rather than a flat mock-up.

What do you build on?

Static pages, not WordPress. No plugins to maintain, nothing to be hacked, and load times well under a second.

What happens to my existing website?

It stays live until the new one is ready, and every old URL is mapped to its new equivalent so existing Google rankings carry across.

Can I update it myself?

The care plan covers changes, which is faster than learning an editor for most electricians. If you would rather do it yourself we can set that up.

Electrical trade specifics

Can I display my NICEIC or NAPIT logo?

Yes, if you are currently registered, and only in the form your scheme permits. Scheme logos carry usage rules and misusing one creates a compliance problem rather than building trust. We check this on every build.

Will it connect to Tradify or Commusoft?

Yes. Also Payaca, Powered Now and Fergus. Enquiries create a job in your system rather than sending an email. This is included in Contractor and Team.

Do I need a page for every service?

For anything you genuinely want more of, yes. Google and AI search engines treat a dedicated page as evidence you offer a service. A line in a bulleted list is much weaker evidence.

How do the October 2026 changes affect my website?

The EAS 2024 individual competence deadline and the EICR qualification changes both take effect in October 2026. Customers, landlords and letting agents will start checking. Stating your position plainly is a cheap advantage while most competitors have not bothered.

Do you work outside London and Essex?

Yes. The service area pages focus on London and Essex because demand is concentrated there, but the build itself is not geographically limited.

About us

How much experience is behind this?

The team has been building websites for UK businesses since 2011. Rewired Websites is that experience pointed at a single trade, so the compliance, the software integration and the service structure are already understood before we start.

What if I do not need a new website?

We will tell you. If your site loads quickly, says what you are qualified for and brings in the work you want, keep it and spend the money elsewhere.

Can I speak to someone before committing?

Yes. Send us a message on WhatsApp or an email and you will get a straight answer from the person who would build your site. We do not run discovery calls as standard, though we will happily arrange one if you would rather talk it through.
